Meeting #2 will be held virtually on Thursday, July 24.

AES Indiana to hold second 2025 Integrated Resource Plan public advisory meeting

July 15, 2025

INDIANAPOLIS – AES Indiana, a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES) will hold a second public advisory meeting as part of the Integrated Resource Plan process on Thursday, July 24. The public is invited to register and attend this virtual public meeting to learn more and provide input on the 2025 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP).

AES Indiana decided to pause the IRP process in March to allow time for relevant matters (e.g. HEA 1007) to resolve in the legislative session. With the passing of HEA 1007, AES Indiana evaluated the 2025 IRP in conjunction with other resource planning activities and possible regulatory filings and has made the decision to resume the IRP. There will be three more public stakeholder meetings before AES Indiana intends to file the IRP with the IURC in November.

IRP Meeting #2

  • Thursday, July 24
  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST
  • Material to be covered: All assumptions including power and gas prices, new resources costs, introduce IRP analysis portfolio framework and IRP analysis scorecard as well as the reliability analysis
