Employees and leaders set to work at five neighborhood parks
Employees to beautify five Indianapolis parks during 6th Annual IPL Day in the Parks

INDIANAPOLIS — Employees and leaders of Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL) and The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES) will spend the day on Wednesday, May 11 working to improve and beautify five Indianapolis parks: Ellenberger, Washington, Virginia Lee O’Brien, Greene and Windsor Village.

VISUALS: Interview and photo opportunities begin at 9:30 a.m. at Ellenberger Park where employees will be completing a variety of tasks, including tree planting, playground mulching, a mural refresh, painting, fence removal and general cleanup.
BACKGROUND: IPL Day in the Parks is IPL’s signature community project and largest volunteer event with over 400 employees given the opportunity to enhance local parks in the communities in which they live and serve.
