If you install solar panels or other distributed generation at your home or business, the Usage Detail section of your AES Indiana bill will change. You will see these changes only after your application for interconnection is approved and a net meter is installed.
Net meter bill definitions
- Actual: measure of energy AES Indiana delivers to a customer
- Received: measure of energy a customer puts back on the grid
- Net: net measure of energy equal to Actual minus Received
- Actual - Received = Net
