Adam oversees the direction of the Urban Naturalist and Youth Tree Team programs at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB). These youth employment programs for college and high school students focus on providing job skills, professional experience and inspiring environmental appreciation while maintaining a variety of different KIB projects across this city to increase biodiversity. Adam possesses a robust knowledge of native plant communities and invasive species management and is a skilled environmental educator. Adam graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Human Ecology and a minor in Environmental Management. Adam has been with KIB for over six years and is an ISA Certified Arborist, an Indiana Accredited Horticulturist and a Licensed Pesticide Applicator.
