Eagle Valley generating station ash pond closure plan public meeting

On December 9, 2020, AES Indiana held a virtual public meeting to comply with the requirements of 329 IAC 10-12-1 for closure of the ash pond system at AES Indiana Eagle Valley Generating Station (“Site”), located at 4040 Blue Bluff Road, Martinsville, Indiana. The presentation materials from that meeting are provided here. The ash pond closure plan, deemed complete by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) on November 13, 2020, describes the closure of the ash pond system comprised of five ponds (Ponds A, B, C, D, and E) formerly used at the Site. A copy of the ash pond closure plan is available for review at the Morgan County Public Library located at 110 S Jefferson St, Martinsville and on IDEM’s Virtual File Cabinet at https://vfc.idem.in.gov/DocumentSearch.aspx (Document ID 82928191).
