Madison Byarley is the Thriving Buildings Program Manager for the City of Indianapolis’ Office of Sustainability. She manages the Thriving Buildings energy and water benchmarking program where she works with public and private sector building owners and managers to teach them about the benefits of benchmarking and how to use free benchmarking software. Madison started her role with the city in November of 2022 and previously worked at the Indiana Department of Environmental management. She studied at Purdue University and IUPUI, getting her bachelor’s and master’s degree, respectively. In her free time she enjoys doing pottery, hiking, seeing live music and cooking.
