AES Indiana cares about our customers, and we understand that financial challenges are difficult to overcome.

 

Power of Change

The Power of Change is a new pilot program designed to help income-qualified customers with a one-time grant to assist with electric bill payments when financial challenges occur. The goal is to offer customers a hand-up during a time of need.

 

How it works

AES Indiana has partnered with Dollar Energy Fund to administer the program, which includes accepting applications and enrolling qualified customers. Dollar Energy Fund is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for households experiencing hardship.

AES Indiana will contribute $100,000 to fund the program. Customers and community members can make donations as well.

Customers who need assistance will apply for grants through community partners.

How to apply

Eligible customers may apply to receive a one-time power of change grant through partner agencies. The program is available throughout the year, as funds are available.
